And the pumpkin head said, "Boo! Boo!"

Halloween is upon us in full force this year! Due to work schedules, Trey and I were....yet again....unable to carve our pumpkin. One of these days were actually going to get to use the pumkin carving kit....one of these days!

Yesterday was "Storybook Character Dress-Up" at school! It was complete with Shaggy and the rest of the Scooby-Doo gang, many varieties of "Where the Wild Things Are," "Snow White and her 7 Dwarfs," and even a few Cat in the Hats! The kids were crazy with excitement! The Scooby-Doo crew (which I am glad to say was 3 of my third grade co-workers) surely caused quite a fuss! As well, kindergartens version of "The Magic School Bus" was a huge hit at lunch!
I, on the other hand, went for a cheaper, more comfortable costume! Yes...I was "Alexander" from the story "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!" And boy was it awesome! Threw on my christmas dog flannel pajamas, put ungodly amounts of mousse in my hair, and then twirled a bright pink hair band around to signify a piece of bubble gum!

Tonight is the real party though! Tonight I'll be joining Joe and company for "The Halloween Party I've Been Waiting For!" (Or so he says!) My costume..........AN UNO CARD!! It's going to be marvelous! I, in normal Sarah fashion, waited until the last minute (much to Trey's annoyance!) and we ran to Wal-Mart this morning to get the supplies! Just finished creating my masterpiece and am now letting it dry! It should be a wonderful time and I love seeing everyone dressed up and the creativity that people put into it!

In pet news, Ruckus has learned that she can bite down a little...and its getting a bit painful! Surely hoping to break that habit soon! Did I mention she destroyed her stuffed animal? Looks like Thing 2 didn't stand a chance! Dreading what will happen as she gets bigger, things could get pretty expensive! And Rwwar...well, just waiting for the day of her "Big Escape!" I feel as though it will be coming soon! As she sure is getting more adventurous and curious about the outdoors! The other day she snuck out right past me when I got home from work! Coulda kicked her butt...

Soccer game tomorrow! Ready to get back into action! Speaking of soccer, like to take a minute to say "High Five and Congratulations" to my little brother, Brian. He scored 2, yes TWO, header goals in his game this morning...he's A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!

Until next time...Happy Halloween!
